8 mei Lutkemeer: Laat van Uitstel Afstel komen!
De Lutkemeerpolder is een eeuwe oud stuk landbouwgrond van 42 hectare bij Osdorp aan de rand van Amsterdam. Het stadsbestuur wil op deze plek een distributiecentrum bouwen, terwijl de infrastructuur ongeschikt is en er lege distributiecentra om de hoek liggen.
Met het oog op klimaatverandering is het bouwen van bedrijventerreinen in groengebieden sowieso waanzin. De tot nu toe geheime bouwer heeft uitstel gevraagd. Wat ons betreft is dit het moment voor het stadsbestuur om daar ook afstel van te maken. Kom ook om deze boodschap kracht bij te zetten! (English version below)

Op zaterdag 8 mei van 13 tot 15 uur zullen we duidelijk maken dat er heel veel Amsterdammers zijn die deze plannen niet steunen. We organiseren een verkennende wandeling in de polder, vertellen over de geschiedenis en de toekomstplannen en gaan tuinieren.
Vanzelfsprekend corona-proof.
Trek laarzen aan, neem een spade, bomen, zaad, plantjes en spandoeken mee. Samen gaan we de polder weer beplanten. Help mee met mobiliseren, vertel het door en neem je ouders, kinderen, buren of collega’s mee! En vergeet niet je mondcapje!

Come to the Lutkemeerpolder on Saturday 8.5! No distribution center on fertile lands!
The Lutkemeerpolder is a 42-hectare heritage piece of agricultural land near Osdorp at the edge of Amsterdam. The local government wants to construct a distribution center in this location, although the surrounding infrastructure is insufficient and there are empty distribution centers just around the corner. With a view on climate change, building an industrial terrain in green areas is crazy anyway. The (until now) anonymous buyer has asked for a break in construction. This is the moment for the local government to not only take a break, but make a complete stop of this project. Join us to give this message your support!
On Saturday 8th of May from 13:00-15:00 we will make it clear that many citizens of Amsterdam do not support these plans! We will organize exploratory walks in the polder, tell about it’s history and future plans, as well as some gardening. Of course everything will be corona – proof.
Bring boots, spades, seeds, plants and banners! Together we will plant again in the polder. Help us to mobilize – pass the message on and bring your parents, children, neighbors or colleagues! And don’t foget your facemaks!
